What Does the HASC Think About Protests and CAS? Its Draft Bill Proposes Changes for Both

The House Armed Services Committee has released a draft of the NDAA that would change two critical areas of government contracting. The proposals were part of the HASC chairman’s 2026 NDAA mark-up, which was released by the press on Sunday, and while the committee will likely continue to revise the draft bill, they shed light on the committee’s current thinking. We summarize both proposed changes in this client alert.
