FY26 National Defense Authorization Act Signed Into Law: What Government Contractors Need to Know

On December 18, 2025, President Trump signed the FY 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law. This annual legislation authorizes key Department of Defense programs and introduces significant acquisition-related changes. Highlights include streamlined procurement processes, increased investment in emerging technologies, expanded U.S. production capacity, and higher thresholds for certified cost or pricing data and Cost Accounting Standards compliance.
